Public invited to comment on Eye Neighbourhood Plan

Residents, businesses, and stakeholders are being invited to take part in a key consultation that will help shape the future of Eye.

The draft Eye Neighbourhood Plan, covering the period 2026–2036, has now been published for public review as part of the statutory Regulation 14 Consultation. This marks an important stage in the plan’s development, giving the community a formal opportunity to provide feedback before the document is submitted for independent examination.

The neighbourhood plan will play a vital role in guiding future development in the village, reflecting local priorities and ensuring that growth is managed in a way that benefits the community.

The consultation runs from Monday 4 May to Sunday 21 June 2026.

Members of the public can view copies of the draft plan and supporting documents on the Neighbourhood Plan page of this website. Printed copies for viewing are also available at:

  • Leeds Hall
  • Eye library
  • Manor Farm Community Centre

Feedback can be submitted via email to eyeparishcouncil@btinternet.com or in writing to:
Leeds Hall, High Street, Eye, PE6 7UP. While providing a postcode is helpful to identify whether you live or work in the neighbourhood area, it is not mandatory.

A spokesperson for the Parish Council said:
“This is your opportunity to help shape the future of our village. We encourage everyone to review the draft plan and share their views so we can ensure it reflects the needs and aspirations of our community.”
