1)Apologies for absence

2) Chairman’s Report
Mr Holmes began by thanking the hard work of the clerk and for keeping the council working correctly. He went on to thank his fellow councillors and the Ward Councillors for their work and the team effort which has benefited Eye village.
We have lost 4 members, gained 2 new ones which leave two vacancies. Despite the election. Eye Green voted at the Indian Restaurant this time and the clerk
We have had various meetings in Eye and out of Eye this year with City Council Officers and members, Larkfleet Homes, Stewart Jackson MP. We have visited the new Care Facility, the Primary School and we have attended the Neighbourhood Council meetings- despite our reservations. The name and area of the councils are due to change. Thanks to the Open Space Group.
Any defects with roads/footpaths are reported directly to the City Council.
The new A1073 is due to open in the Autumn.
Eyescan continues to be produced quarterly and thank you to all those involved. The Parish Council writes an article each month and this together with our notice-boards and web-site are very good at informing the resident of what is happening in the village and what the Parish Council are doing. The Parish Council office in the Leeds Hall is usually open on Wednesday and Friday mornings as well as having an ansaphone and email facility.
Police, Law, Order
Thanks go to the police for their help and support, especially to PCSO Elaine Buddle. Despite personnel changes she has remained in Eye. The Neighbourhood Panel continues to meet quarterly, sometimes in Eye but is very poorly attended.
Cemetery
A memorial tree has been planted and a plaque has been ordered. A sandbox for poppy crosses is now in place.
Leeds Hall & Pavilion
A vote of thanks was given to the Chairman for his years work.
3) Any Other Matters
Mr McKean bought the retrospective planning
application for an advertisement sign for Larkfleet homes to the
attention of the Parish Council.
This is in the Conservation Area and refers to the
Concerns were raised about the volume and speed of
vehicles using
